# Automation

The Automation feature automatically generates product descriptions whenever a new product is added, either manually or via CSV import.

On the **Bulk** page, descriptions created through automation will be labeled as **Type = "Auto"**.&#x20;

**How to Enable Automation**

1. Go to the **Automation** page.
2. In the **Turn on Automation** section, check the box for **"Auto-generate content for new products"**.
3. (Optional) Customize automation settings in the **Customization Options** section.

**Important Notes**

* Automated content generation **uses credits**, so disable it when not needed.
* We recommend enabling **automatic sync to Shopify** to ensure generated descriptions are instantly updated in your store, eliminating the need for manual syncing.
